Educators act ethically and maintain the integrity, credibility and reputation of the profession.

Every day I wake up with the thought “you are not just a person, you are an educator and there is more to it than teaching”. I understand that I must follow all 9 standards every single day because I am now representing the profession and I want to make sure I do it right. Although it might be hard for others, I enjoy being a role model and a good representation of an educator. I will always follow the rules and guidance given to me as an educator. I want students, parents and the public to trust me and believe I deserve to be called an educator. It was my dream come true so I will never mess it up because I worked very hard to get to where I am now.

I am always polite, watch what I say and do, maintain boundaries and respect others. I make sure that I maintain the integrity, credibility and reputation of myself as a person and an educator. I work on developing positive relationships with the students, administration, teachers, support staff, parents and the school district. I understand that I have to prove myself to everyone and earn their trust.
