Educators engage in professional learning.

15 Professional Development Skills for Modern Teachers - TeachHUB

I believe that Education professions inspire to be Life-Long Learners. From the first day of BEd program, I called myself a lifelong learner and I will never stop calling myself that.  It is important to understand that when educators engage in professional learning, their knowledge and skills improve their teaching which then improves their students’ development. I will never stop learning and growing because I don’t want to deprive my students of the knowledge I can give to them. It is like a big cycle of knowledge that never ends. It inspires me to improve my skills, practice, reflect so then I can teach, mentor and inspire others to learn and grow. I am happy that I took so many great learning opportunities throughout my BEd program that taught me things I can share with my students. Perhaps, I became more mature when realized how important it is to constantly learn. I have bought several professional books, participated in professional development days and attended meetings to learn. I promise that I will never stop learning because if I will, I won’t the best teacher I want to be for my students.
